Here’s how MED WORKS Assessments solutions really work:

Case study: Several years ago, a Fortune 500 company asked us to provide a solution to a situation where an employee was off work for seven years due to a job-related injury. We provided an in-depth evaluation by our Physiatrist and Occupational Therapist along with a comprehensive Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE). From these assessments we then developed a time-targeted, work conditioning program, including a supervised, graduated return to work.

Result: Our in-depth process of providing a medical assessment, job site assessment and the subsequent rehabilitation therapy resulted in a successful Return To Work (RTW) for the employee to his pre-accident, regular duties.

His success has been monitored and he continues to perform his regular duties.

Potential cost: $1.5 million
(if the employee remained off work to the age 65)

Cost for our process: approx. $10,000
(assessments & rehabilitation)

Now let us help you and your injured employees!

We have numerous other examples of successful RTW including chronic, complex cases. Many of these workers were able to return to their regular duties following assessment and rehabilitation or were found suitable alternate employment opportunities within their company.

This created a win – win situation for both the employee and employer. The worker was able to return to gainful, productive employment while the employer, regained a productive employee and minimized potential long-term costs.

If you have experienced a similar situation, MED WORKS Assessments will evaluate, (for a nominal fee), your complex claims and provide a professional, unbiased and candid response in terms of realistically analyzing the RTW potential of a worker.

Call us today for details of how we may be able to provide you with a viable solution that will help you and your employee.

Job Demands Analysis (JDA)

What is a Job Demands Analysis?
A JDA identifies and provides a detailed description of the physical demands of the components of an individual worker’s job. These components are analyzed by qualified, experienced staff, independently using objective measures. The information is used to quantify the physical demands placed on the worker.

How are job components analyzed?
The job components are defined and described in quantitative terms following a worksite assessment by a qualified professional.

Why would you need a detailed Job Demands Analysis?
This document serves as the cornerstone for the rehabilitation process. A quality Job Demands Analysis allows us to design an appropriate rehabilitation plan and physical conditioning programme based specifically on the physical stresses placed on the individual worker in a particular job.
